Job summary

Luxoft invites an experienced Android Developer to join a Kuala Lumpur-based project for a leading bank. You will design, build and maintain Android mobile banking applications, focusing on performance, security and reliable deployment.

The role requires 6-9 years of hands-on Android experience, strong Kotlin/Java skills, and familiarity with banking mobile apps. You will work in an Agile DevOps environment, aligning with CI/CD practices and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of Android mobile app development.
• Strong hands-on Android, Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with enterprise or digital banking mobile apps.
• Solid understanding of the mobile app lifecycle and deployment.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android mobile banking apps.
• Build features using Kotlin and Java; create reusable components.
• Support build and deployment automation; CI/CD integration.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and DevOps practices.
• Support testing, SIT/UAT and production issue resolution.
• Work across Linux/HPUX/Solaris environments as needed.
