Job summary

Air Products is seeking an accounting professional to manage all accounting aspects of sales, cost of goods, inventory, and related accounts in a multinational setting. The role involves journal entries, report analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, a CPA/ACCA or equivalent, and at least 3 years in audit or finance roles. SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance (or equivalent).
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of working experience in audit or finance-related role in a multinational company; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles; US GAAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all accounting aspects of sales, manufacturing cost, distribution cost, inventory, and other related accounts – including posting of journal entries, analyzing reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate with finance, business and operations departments to process transactions and review master data, including product standard costing.
• Identify root cause and drive process improvements to rectify errors and process gaps.
• Work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices; US GAAP knowledge is a plus
• Self-motivated team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills, and high ethical standards
• Additional language skill (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin) is a plus
