BAT’s Digital Business Solution has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst – Procure to Pay in Subang Jaya, Malaysia

In this role, you will manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial operations. You will collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to resolve queries, support closing activities, and maintain process controls. You will also identify gaps, drive improvements, and simplify workflows to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, issue resolution, and reporting.
  • Handle vendor and stakeholder inquiries professionally, ensuring responses are accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Support troubleshooting, risk management, and decision-making while adhering to internal controls, policies, and SLAs.
  • Monitor performance metrics, maintain service levels, and provide backup support as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement through new process implementations and workflow simplification.
What are we looking for?
  • Diploma/degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting with 1-3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Accounts Payable or Purchase-to-Pay.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, with knowledge of accounting concepts, expenditure cycles, treasury, inter-company recharge principles, and experience with SAP or similar financial systems.
  • Understanding of the Purchase-to-Pay cycle, administrative procedures, and compliance with internal controls and policies.
  • Effective communication skills in English, culturally sensitive, and able to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused, proactive learner, committed to accuracy, timely escalation, and continuous service improvement.
