Senior Analyst – Purchase to Pay (P2P) is responsible for ensuring invoices are paid timely. They are instrumental in supporting the team in delivering Accounts Payable services, during and after transition, accurately, efficiently and in accordance with company’s policies, guidelines, and operating procedures. Additionally, this role will also have an opportunity to identify and implement improvements in the new process.

This position reports to the Senior Manager – Accounts Payable and is part of the Accounts Payables Team located in Kuala Lumpur and will be an on-site role.

This position is being offered through Pall, a Danaher group company providing services in Malaysia to beneficiary Cytiva.

What you will do:

• Receive and verify the validity of invoices, ensure invoices are processed as per KPI and within SLA via Basware and ERP
• Participate / support new process implementations / preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Clearing of invoice workflows daily and investigate aged items
• Follow up constantly with Supply Chain and local team on Purchase Order (PO) and Goods Receipt (GR) related matters
• Handle audit queries, resolve vendor and internal staff queries pertaining to invoices, escalation to Supervisor where necessary

Who you are:

• Candidate must possess at least bachelor’s degree or Professional Qualification of any field, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3 years of working experience in P2P, preferably in P2P process and within Shared Services environment
• Experience in ERP (SAP / Oracle)
• Possesses excellent attention to detail and sound judgment, self-starter, quick learner and team player with ability to drive initiatives and change
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Basware – AP automation system
