About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Senior Analyst to join our Group Impairment Reporting team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will support end‑to‑end Expected Credit Loss (ECL) reporting processes in accordance with MFRS 9 requirements. You will be responsible for compiling and generating impairment‑related reports for internal and external stakeholders, performing analysis and risk adjustments, and supporting the implementation of related projects and system changes. You will also collaborate with business units to monitor accounts and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.

What you will be doing
  • Assist in the compilation and timely generation of ECL‑related reports for management, business units, auditors, and regulators
  • Prepare Model Risk Adjustments (MRA) and contribute to macroeconomic forecast (MEF) data analysis and reporting
  • Support engagement with business teams to highlight high‑risk accounts and mitigate potential loan losses
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within impairment reporting workflows
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for internal and external projects and change requests
  • Drive implementation of impairment reporting systems and enhancements
  • Address UAT‑related issues and perform necessary batch runs during testing phases
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 3‑4 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related fields
  • Professional or Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, Banking or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience in financial reporting, impairment analysis, or credit risk is preferred
  • Detail‑oriented and able to manage tight reporting timelines
  • Proactive and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with MFRS 9 and related regulatory expectations is an advantage
