Job summary

Air Liquide Business Services Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive accounting professional to handle journal entries, billing, accruals, forex revaluation and cost recharge within our APAC shared services hub, supporting statutory financial statements and audits.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in audit or shared services accounting, a degree in Accounting/Finance, and a good command of English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in audit, commercial accounting or shared services accounting.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Business level English.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills.
• Team player with initiative and ownership.
• Experience with Oracle or ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle journal entries, billing, expense accruals and forex revaluation.
• Support statutory financial statements and external/internal audits.
• Assist intercompany reconciliations and data cleansing.
• Support general ledger and ERP-related initiatives.
• Undertake other assigned tasks and IT-related tickets.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Accounting (Journal, Billing, Expense accrual, Forex Revaluation, Cost recharge etc.)
• Explain on Profit & Lost fluctuation Month-on-Month and Actual vs Target to affiliates Balance Sheet Reconciliation including historical data cleansing IRIS reporting (P&L, BS, Cash Flow, Intercompany declaration)
• Prepare statutory financial statements
• Full support to external and internal audits
• Support on General Ledger operational excellence project
• Other assigned tasks e.g. raising SNOW ticket, IT ticket, Create project/Assets etc.

Are you a MATCH?

• At least 3 years in audit, commercial accounting or shared services accounting is required
• Degree in Accounting / Finance equivalent
• Business level proficiency in English
• Good knowledge in accounting principles
• Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills
• Possesses team player qualities and takes initiative and ownership of assigned duties
• Conversant in Oracle and Google Workspace preferred but experience with other ERPs may be considered
