The Global Finance Group at Lam Research Corporation seeks a highly skilled Senior Analyst to lead automation and digital enablement within Corporate Accounting. You will own Alteryx, Power BI, Quickbase and approved AI tools, ensuring controlled, scalable solutions that meet SOX and audit requirements.

Responsibilities include governance of automation platforms, data integrity, and collaboration with Finance, IT, and vendors to deliver value across close, reconciliation, and reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, or Data Analytics is required.
  • 4–8 years in accounting, finance transformation, analytics, or automation roles preferred.
  • Experience with SAP S4 Hana, Alteryx, Power BI, Quickbase, or related tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own administration and governance of Corporate Accounting automation tools.
  • Maintain access, environments, schedules, connections, and inventories.
  • Monitor workflows, data refreshes, and dashboard performance; troubleshoot with Finance/IT.
  • Establish standards for development, testing, change control, and deployment.
  • Develop and manage Alteryx workflows and Power BI models and dashboards.
  • Design Quickbase applications and ensure data integrity, SOX compliance.

This role will manage and enhance our automation toolset—including Alteryx, Power BI, Quickbase, and approved AI solutions—while partnering with accounting stakeholders to deliver scalable, controlled, and sustainable solutions.What you’ll doOwn the day-to-day administration, governance, and support of Corporate Accounting automation tools and solutions, including Alteryx, Power BI, Quickbase, and approved AI capabilitiesMaintain platform access, permissions, environments, schedules, connections, and solution inventoriesMonitor workflow, application, data refresh, and dashboard performance; troubleshoot failures and coordinate resolution with Finance, IT, and vendorsEstablish and maintain standards for development, testing, change control, documentation, security, versioning, and production deploymentTrack adoption, reliability, time savings, capacity gains, and other measures of automation valuePartner with accounting process owners to identify, assess, prioritize, design, and implement automation opportunities across close, reconciliation, reporting, controls, and other finance processesBuild, enhance, test, deploy, and support Alteryx workflows for data extraction, preparation, reconciliation, exception analysis, recurring reporting, and workflow orchestrationDevelop and manage Power BI semantic models, reports, dashboards, refresh schedules, access, data quality checks, and release processes to provide trusted, decision-useful insightsDesign, administer, and improve Quickbase applications, pipelines, forms, notifications, role-based access, and dashboards that support controlled accounting workflows and clear ownershipEvaluate and responsibly apply approved AI capabilities to accounting use cases such as document and policy summarization, anomaly identification, knowledge retrieval, workflow assistance, and user support, with appropriate human review and data safeguardsEnsure automated solutions preserve data integrity, auditability, and SOX requirements, including appropriate evidence, reconciliations, approvals, access controls, and change documentationCreate and maintain solution documentation, data definitions, testing evidence, desktop procedures, and business-continuity plans; cross-train users and support teamsLead user training, intake, adoption, and continuous-improvement activities; translate accounting requirements into practical technical designs and communicate status, risks, and results to stakeholdersMaintain sufficient hands-on knowledge of Corporate Accounting processes to validate business logic and support US GAAP, IFRS, audit, reporting, and other assigned deliverables as neededWho we’re looking forBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field is required4–8 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance transformation, analytics, automation, or related roles; Fortune 500 or Big 4 experience is highly preferredSAP S4 Hana, Alteryx, Power BI, Quickbase, data analytics, or automation certification is preferredAdvanced proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 collaboration and automation toolsHands-on experience developing and supporting solutions in Alteryx, Power BI, and Quickbase; experience with administration, scheduling, permissions, data connections, monitoring, and production support is strongly preferredDemonstrated experience translating business requirements into scalable automated workflows, applications, reports, dashboards, and controlsWorking knowledge of data preparation, modeling, visualization, workflow design, testing, documentation, issue resolution, and change managementFamiliarity with enterprise AI capabilities and responsible use principles, including data privacy, security, human oversight, validation, and appropriate use-case selectionKnowledge of accounting processes, US GAAP, internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements; IFRS knowledge is preferredStrong communication, project management, business partnering, and professional presence, with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiencesFlexible, organized, and able to prioritize a portfolio of enhancements, incidents, recurring operations, and deadlinesSelf-starter with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and continuous-improvement skills and the ability to work independently and collaborativelyHigh ethical standards, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to secure, reliable, well-documented automationPreferred qualificationsOur commitmentWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
