JOB SUMMARY

The position plays a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing core system solutions that align with our business needs. This position involves close collaboration with stakeholders to understand their requirements, translating these into technical specifications, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and system design documents.
• Work with development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Prepare and deliver training materials for end-users.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in system analysis and design.
• Skilled in gathering and documenting business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
• Proficient in creating process models and workflows to visualize business processes.
• Ability to manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Expertise in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
• Capable of evaluating and recommending solutions that align with business objectives.
• Experience in managing change and ensuring smooth transitions during project implementations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Malaysian citizen.
• Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field recognized by the government from any local or abroad higher learning institution.
• Must have at least 8 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in financial services or organization.
• Certification in any Business Analyst domain such as CBAP, CPRE is a plus.
• Experience and business & technical knowledge of core banking systems are a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience with Banking/Financial systems including modules for deposits, lending, payments, trade finance, and treasury management.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or RPG.
• Understanding of API integration and web services.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data analysis tools.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Proficiency in system analysis and design methodologies.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Aptitude for identifying issues and developing effective solutions.
