Job summary

Axonect in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a senior ML/Software Engineer to develop and deploy AI/ML solutions for enterprise environments. You will build data pipelines, implement ML models, and automate workflows using Python, SQL, Airflow, and Azure ML.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business teams, ensure code quality through SDLC, contribute to MLOps, CI/CD, and containerization, and participate in Agile teams to deliver reliable ML use cases.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Machine Learning and Software Development
• Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development teams
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and release management
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills with developers, ML engineers, data engineers, and business teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and identify quality risks proactively

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI/ML solutions using Python and relevant ML frameworks
• Build and manage data pipelines using Airflow and Snowflake/Snowpark
• Perform data processing, transformation, validation, and analysis using SQL
• Develop scripts and automation using CLI/Bash
• Deploy and support ML workloads using Azure ML
• Manage source code using Git and follow software development best practices
• Support model deployment, monitoring, and operationalization
• Collaborate with data scientists, testers, and business teams to deliver ML use cases
• Support MLOps, CI/CD, and containerization activities and provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, issues, and defect status
• Ensure alignment with Agile practices and development standards
