Job summary

Swisslog is hiring for an AI/ML software engineer in Malaysia (Petaling Jaya) to design and build AI-powered intralogistics solutions. You will develop architectures, implement AI endpoints, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

The role requires strong Python skills, experience with LangChain or similar LLM frameworks, cloud expertise (Azure preferred), and a solid background in Agile/Scrum development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for Generative AI and its application to real-world business problems; AI-related hobby projects with strong developer background also count
• Experience with Python programming and scripting
• Hands-on experience with LangChain or other LLM frameworks, MCP, agents, tool integrations, and evaluation flows
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed team members
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, with a focus on LLMs and Generative AI techniques
• Strong experience with Cloud Services, preferably within the Azure ecosystem
• Experience building rapid prototypes
• Familiarity with tools used in development, such as Git, Python, LangChain or other LLM frameworks, Terraform, etc.
• Capability to design effective applications
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology-based development
