Job description

About the Company

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an MNC Public Listed Company to be based in Petaling Jaya. The client is from the Semiconductor/Manufacturing industry with presence across Malaysia, Philippines and China.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

i. Manage the full set of accounts, including bank reconciliation, journal entries, andfinancial schedules, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

ii. In charge of intercompany transactions and billing, ensure all payments on behalf havebeen captured correctly and re-charge to respective entities.

iii. Prepare financial statements, supporting year-end audits, and ensuring timelycompletion of audited financial reports.

iv. Oversee financial systems, ensuring efficiency and identifying process improvements toenhance operational effectiveness.

2. Tax & Compliance

i. Prepare monthly tax computation, including deferred tax, ensuring compliance withcorporate tax regulations and timely filings.

ii. Prepare and submit statutory reports to regulatory bodies (e.g., Bank Negara) withindeadlines.

iii. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to ensure compliancewith regulatory and statutory requirements.

3. Cash Flow Management

i. Monitor daily cash flow and prepare daily cash reports.

ii. Maintain and update banking details, process transactions, and execute over-the-counterbanking when necessary.

iii. Prepare payments, ensuring proper documentation and approvals from signatories.

4. Budgeting

i. Prepare the company budget and submit for consolidation within deadlines.

5. Other Duties

i. Manage and verify share capital updates for Bursa announcements, including ESOSreports.

ii. Handle any additional tasks assigned by superiors, ensuring proactive management ofdeadlines and responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess relevant accounting certification, Bachelor Degree, Accounts & Finance orequivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field, knowledge and experience inaccounting/auditing is required for this position.
• Must have a positive working attitude and able to work independently and as a team.
• Preferable/Added advantage for UBS accounting knowledge

Remuneration:

MYR 5,000 - MYR 6,000
