Job Description

This ideal candidate will be in charge of month-end closing and the preparation of quarterly sales reports for management to analyze and plan for future budgeting. He/she will be responsible for fixed assets accounting. This is a senior executive role.

Work Location: JAYA ONE, Sekyen 13 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance of the company's fixed assets, intercompany elimination entries, and other consolidation adjustments.
  2. Collaborate with external accountants on monthly ledger closing, annual financial reporting, audits, and financial statements.
  3. Maintain fixed asset master data, record acquisitions and disposals, post depreciation, and revaluation in the accounting system.
  4. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including reconciling fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the general ledger.
  5. Recommend asset disposals to management.
  6. Conduct fixed asset analyses as requested by management.
  7. Manage accounts payable and credit control processes.
  8. Communicate strategies to relevant teams: Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Senior Management.
  9. Assist the Finance team in verifying employee claims according to company policies and approvals.
  10. Perform any other duties related to Accounts & Financial roles as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or related fields.
  • Organized and capable of multitasking.
  • Meticulous, proactive, and committed.
