Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Assist in preparing forecasts and budgets.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and manage bank reconciliations.

Skills

Job description

Handle a full set of accounts and be responsible for month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including journal postings and prompt submission of relevant reports to the Finance Manager.

Assist in handling tax, SST, and audit matters.

Assist in preparing forecasts and budgets.

Assist in e-invoicing processes.

In charge of reconciliation of intercompany accounts, bank reconciliation, postings, and balancing.

Liaise with customers, suppliers, company secretaries, and other regulatory authorities regarding respective activities.

Assist in preparing corporate income tax computations and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Assist in preparing and liaising with auditors and tax consultants for the annual audit, audit analysis, and submission of tax returns.

Report directly to the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Professional Certificate in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in multiple languages; ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage.
• Familiarity with IFRS requirements and listed company reporting standards (for holding or subsidiary companies).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, self-motivated, mature, and willing to grow with the group.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SQL accounting software such as UBS.
• Candidate must be able to work in Petaling Jaya.
• Able to start immediately.
