We are a growing company in the manufacturing sector and are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support our finance team. The role involves hands-on accounting responsibilities in a manufacturing setting with the opportunity to contribute to day-to-day financial operations.

Job Responsibilities:-

  • Perform cost analysis and identify improvement opportunities to enhance overall margin.
  • Analyze monthly financial variances (actual vs budget).
  • Manage budgets and provide variance analysis for cost-related issues.
  • Prepare and ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including financial statements, balance sheet schedules and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax agents for compliance.
  • Participate in month-end closing, management reporting and presentations.
  • Prepare Bi-monthly SST and LMW (Malaysia import/export) reports.
  • Ensure timely submission of Malaysia E-invoices.
  • Assist in quarterly internal and external audits.
  • Lead and drive automation and process transformation projects while continuously improving processes and policies.
  • Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:-

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in SAP with excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, cost accounting and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing abilities at all levels of the organization.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and ability to lead, coach and motivate a team within a matrix organization.
  • Available to start work within a short notice period
