A leading company in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage accounts receivable and payable, as well as maintain a full set of accounts. The role requires strong accounting skills and experience in the property management sector. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, particularly in English and Mandarin.

Account Receivable Management: Handle invoicing, collection updates, and follow-ups.
Account Payable Management: Process vendor invoices, arrange payments, and reconcile vendor accounts as needed.
Full Set of Accounts Preparation: Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliation, fixed asset registers, balance sheet schedules, and maintain the general ledger on a monthly basis.
Management Accounts: Prepare monthly management accounts and submit reports to the Finance Manager.
Audit & Tax Schedules: Prepare schedules for audits and tax filings.
Liaise with Stakeholders: Communicate with auditors, tax agents, and bankers; stay updated on government financial reporting and compliance policies.
Income Tax Submission: Prepare and submit income tax estimates and company tax returns.
Document Management: Maintain organized filing systems for accounting records for easy retrieval.
Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks or projects assigned by management as needed.
Work Under Pressure: Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle high-pressure situations.
SST Submission: Experienced in SST submission.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications: Degree or professional qualification in accountancy. LCCI Higher/Advanced Diploma in Accounting or equivalent is encouraged.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of general accounting experience. Experience in property investment and management industry is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software (Autocount, SQL). Experience with accounting software is an added advantage.
Work Ethic: A strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and a cheerful attitude. Willingness to learn new things.
Personal Traits: Self-motivated, proactive, good team player, excellent communication skills, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
Work In-dependence: Ability to work in-dependently with minimum supervision.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin. Preference for Mandarin proficiency to engage with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Availability: Candidates who can start immediately are preferred.
