Job description

Job Responsibility

General Job Description

Responsible for working under Group Reporting concerning accounting, financial reporting and analysis, taxation, budgeting, performance, internal controls, and risk management systems. Also, responsible for updating standard operating policies to enhance relevance, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of statutory reporting and management accounts.
  • Perform financial analysis, review monthly management reports, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. Monitor variances and report on them promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of Group Consolidation Accounts.
  • Review Accounts Receivable & expenses transactions, audit schedules, inter-company transactions, and various reconciliations.
  • Assist in finalizing audits and reviewing corporate income tax submissions.
  • Liaise with tax agents, auditors, company secretaries, and other relevant bodies as required.
  • Ensure accounts comply with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards, relevant acts, and regulations.
  • Assist in implementing and improving finance policies, internal controls, systems, and processes.
  • Assist in preparing group transfer pricing documentation.
  • Participate in annual inventory and fixed assets counts when required.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring for subordinates.
  • Participate in training programs organized by the company to develop necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements

  • Possess CIMA, ACCA, Degree in Finance/Accounting, or similar professional qualification.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • High proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Adaptive in challenging situations and capable of handling diversified tasks and responsibilities.
