Job summary

A leading company in real estate development is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in accountancy, at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency in multiple languages including Mandarin for effective communication with clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
  • Exposure to property development and construction industries preferred.
  • Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all financial operations.
  • Verify invoices and process payments for contractors and suppliers.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and manage compliance matters.

Job description

Azza Mewah Development Sdn Bhd specializes in real estate development, with a primary focus on constructing various types of properties in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Our projects include double-storey terraced houses, bungalows, semi-detached houses, shop lots, light industry factories, and more.

Qualifications & experience

Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.

Experience in handling full set of accounts.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.

Exposure to the property development and construction industries is preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Immediate availability to start work or within a short period is preferred.

Tasks & responsibilities

Manage and supervise all financial operation. Ensure all financial records are maintained effectively, kept up-to-date, and accurate.

Verify invoices and ensure prompt and accurate processing of payments for contractors, suppliers, consultants, and overhead expenses.

Handle tax payments and ensure strict adherence to Housing Development Act (HDA) regulations.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary to ensure compliance with company resolutions, and manage accounting and taxation matters during annual audits.

Generate payroll-related reports, including summaries and statutory reports. Manage statutory matters such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB.

Undertake additional tasks and assignments as required by the company to support various operational needs.
