• Manage and oversee the entire accounting function including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and prepare timely financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, ensuring that funds are available for the daily operational needs of the company.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and project evaluations.
• Oversee the preparation of tax filings, compliance reports, and audits.
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
• Perform regular financial analysis of ongoing construction projects, ensuring that costs stay within the approved budget.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and other third parties to ensure proper financial compliance and accuracy.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial assets.
• Utilize SQL to manage and query financial data, producing reports for analysis and decision-making.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the accounting team, ensuring continuous improvement and professional development.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the construction industry.
