About the role

Join Pantai Hospital Ipoh as a Senior Accounts Executive and play a key role in managing the financial accounting and reporting for this leading healthcare provider. This is a full-time position based in Ipoh, Perak. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records to support the hospital's operations and strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing
  1. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  2. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment reconciliations, and debt management.
  3. Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other ad-hoc financial analyses as required.
  4. Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and recommendations to support business decisions.
  5. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the hospital's accounting systems and records.
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.
  7. Provide guidance and training to junior members of the accounts team.
What we're looking for
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 5+ years' experience in a similar finance role, preferably within the healthcare or services industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of providing high-quality financial information and recommendations.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Assist in month-end closing, including preparation of related schedules and journal entries.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
