Job summary

Omya Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced accounting professional for our Kuala Lumpur shared services operations. The role focuses on B2C accounting, month-end close, and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will coordinate with Controlling, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, supporting audits and providing clear stakeholder communication on escalations and remedial actions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, B2C operations, month-end close, or statutory audit support.
• Experience with SAP, Coupa, Trintech, and OneStream for reconciliations and reporting.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee daily and monthly B2C accounting tasks: GL entries, month-end close, internal and external reporting.
• Act as SME for statutory audits; coordinate audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Ensure accuracy of postings, reconciliations, and closing steps aligned to calendars and deadlines.
• Resolve escalations related to postings, discrepancies, and missing documentation; perform root-cause analysis.
