· Manage and oversee the preparation and maintenance of the full set of accounts, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and fixed assets.

· Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.

2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

· Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.

· Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making.

3. Taxation and Compliance:

· Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns, including SST/GST, corporate income tax, and withholding tax.

· Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

4. Costing and Inventory Management:

· Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.

· Perform regular reconciliations of inventory balances and prepare detailed costing reports.

5. Internal Controls and Audits:

· Strengthen internal control systems and ensure adherence to established accounting policies.

· Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.

6. Cash Flow Management:

· Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

· Manage banking transactions and reconciliations efficiently.

7. Budgeting and Forecasting:

· Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.

· Track budget performance and provide variance analysis to management.

8. System and Process Improvements:

· Lead initiatives to enhance accounting systems and workflows for efficiency and accuracy.

· Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff to ensure process consistency.

9. Collaboration and Support:

· Liaise with procurement, production, and sales teams to align financial data with operational activities.

· Provide support for special financial projects or assignments as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

o Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are a plus.

o Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.

o Familiarity with the food manufacturing industry is an advantage.

o Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., UBS, QuickBooks, Auto-Count).

o Advanced knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.

o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling tools.

· Additional Requirements:

o In-depth understanding of manufacturing costing and inventory management.

o Ability to work independently and take initiative in resolving complex accounting issues.
