About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented ACCOUNTANT to join our dynamic team at TRIOMATIC VENTURES SDN BHD. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full-time role based in Miri, Sarawak will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
4. Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
6. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices.
7. Mentor and supervise junior members of the finance team.

What we're looking for

1. 3+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the Accounting industry and Financial Accounting & Reporting sub-industry.
2. Proficient in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
4. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
6. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
7. Degree in Accounting or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
