Job summary

KWANG TAI AIR-COND & REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT SDN BHD is seeking a capable accountant to join its team in Kuching. The role handles full set of accounts, prepares financial and management reports, and ensures tax compliance, while coordinating with banks, auditors, and tax agents.

Strong leadership and multilingual communication are essential to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients; you will contribute to audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial and management reports.
• Handle full set of accounts and maintain accounting records.
• Monitor daily accounting functions and monthly closing activities.
• Ensure tax compliance including tax submission, estimation and payment.
• Prepare documentation for annual audits.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents and other authorities.
• Recommend and monitor process improvements.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
