Senior Accountant — Global FinTech & Regulatory Reporting

Zusammenfassung

BIT, a global fintech and infrastructure group, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage a full set of accounts, prepare journals and reconciliations, and support monthly and year-end closes.

Reporting to the Finance Department, the role collaborates with auditors and tax teams to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate holds an accounting qualification and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or degree in accounting with at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with auditors from a Big 4 firm is welcomed.
• Good working attitude and sense of responsibility.

• Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
• Reliable and results oriented team player.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and stress.

Aufgaben

• Work on full set of accounts and prepare journals, schedules, reconciliations with supporting calculations/documentation/explanations to ensure accurate monthly and year end close processes.
• Work with auditors on annual statutory audit to ensure compliance.
• Work with tax team to provide timely information and/or assist with tax filings to ensure on-time completion.
• Prepare/review financial reporting submissions for regulators.
• Monitor financial metrics as required.
• Provide financial/accounting support to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Review, enhance, participate and implement financial control process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies & procedures and accounting standards.
• Assist in any ad-hoc projects that develop within the Finance Department.
• And any other duties assigned in the finance field.
