Job summary

Mattel in Malaysia is seeking a senior finance professional to lead end-to-end financial accounting, reporting, AR, and credit control. You will oversee month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting while partnering with regional stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in accounting, experience with Oracle/High Radius, and strong English and Chinese communication. Prior FP&A exposure and US GAAP knowledge are advantages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting; professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 7+ years accounting experience including in a multinational environment.
• Experience in consumer products industry preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, High Radius) and familiarity with US GAAP.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate across countries.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

• Manage end-to-end financial accounting, reporting, AR, and credit control.
• Oversee month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting.
• Support audits, SOX compliance, and statutory reporting.
