About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant Executive to join our team at KPIX VENTURE SDN BHD'. This is a full-time, remote work opportunity based in Kuala Lumpur. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial accounting and reporting support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our accounting functions.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with the month-end close process

Perform detailed analysis of financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial reporting

Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial projections

Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and processes

Mentor and develop more junior members of the accounting team

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within the Accounting industry and Financial Accounting & Reporting sub-industry

Proficient in the use of accounting software and tools, such as ERP systems and spreadsheet applications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent accounting qualification is preferred
