Are you an experienced finance professional looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic, multinational environment? A leading organisation in the technology solutions industry is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is ideal for those with strong technical full-set accounting expertise and a passion for maintaining financial integrity across multiple entities and regions - with great flexibility provided.

Your new role
As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial standards and local regulations across Malaysia and China. You will be responsible for month-end closing, statutory reporting, financial analysis, and interfacing with global finance teams, auditors, tax consultants, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.
  
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and profit & loss analysis to ensure financial accuracy.
  
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, meeting strict deadlines.
  
• Develop cash flow forecasts and coordinate treasury functions to ensure liquidity for operations.
  
• Ensure adherence to IFRS, local tax regulations, and internal accounting controls.
  
• Support external and internal financial audits, GST, and SST submissions.
  
• Collaborate with various departments and global teams to support business growth.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor Degree or Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent).
  
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a multinational and multi-entity environment.
  
• Strong expertise in full-set accounts management and financial reporting.
  
• Familiarity with Malaysia and China accounting standards, IFRS, GAAP, and SOX compliance.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Oracle Cloud experience preferred).
  
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia (must-have).
  
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and a confident self-starter with strong business acumen.
