We're looking to add a Senior Accountant located in Ipoh, Perak, to support our extraordinary teams and contribute to our growth.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee group consolidation process including and not limited to the review of consolidated financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards ("MFRS") and other management reports.
- Prepare interim financial reports in accordance with Bursa Malaysia’s Listing Requirements and related financial information for presentation to the Audit Committee/Board of Directors and for Bursa Malaysia’s quarterly announcement purposes.
- Coordinate and ensure finalisation of annual audited financial statements and reports. Collaborate with auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
- Oversee the Group’s month-end and year-end closing processes, including general ledger activities such as journal entries, accruals, estimates, and intercompany transactions.
- Manage the Group’s tax function, including planning, compliance, and reporting of taxes and transfer pricing.
- Oversee the Group’s annual budget preparation and quarterly performance reviews.
- Contribute to risk management by assessing financial risks, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing internal controls.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and standards, ensuring compliance and process improvements. Support junior staff’s professional development.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for strategic decisions.
- Lead departmental improvement projects and support digitisation, sustainability, and other initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; membership or eligibility for membership of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants ("MIA") or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in a listed company or reputable firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Malaysian taxation and Listing Requirements.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, EPICOR, QNE, Auto Count) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment, with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of presenting to stakeholders at various levels.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
