Senior Accountant

The role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at One Maker Holding Sdn Bhd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting for our group of companies based in Kota Damansara, Selangor.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
2. Oversee the month-end close process, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
3. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
4. Collaborate with the finance team to implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies.
5. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
6. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.

What we're looking for

1. ACCA-qualified.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in the construction and property development sectors.
3. Familiarity with MFRS and good understanding of local accounting and tax regulations.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficient in financial reporting software, spreadsheets, and other relevant accounting tools.
6. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
