Your Team: You will be a key contributor and advisor to the finance team, which includes the Controller (who will be your manager) and CFO

Your Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will also partner with cross-functional teams to provide insights that support decision-making and business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAP.
  • Maintain prepaid expense schedules, fixed assets schedules and depreciation records.
  • Assist with audits (internal and external) by preparing schedules and providing documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency.
  • Stay current on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
  • 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and general accounting practices.
  • Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system errors and complexities
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. Salary is just one part of our total compensation package that includes equity, perks & benefits, and development opportunities at Seesaw. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other Seesawers. It is our expectation that the majority of candidates who are offered roles at Seesaw will land well within our salary ranges based on these factors.

The hiring range for this position is $90,000-$100,000
