Job Description
- Manage and execute the full RTR cycle, including month-end close, general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements and other management reports in accordance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial data, maintaining data integrity within the ERP system (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Collaborate with other departments and regional offices to ensure efficient processes and adherence to deadlines.
- Support internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide valuable input for audits, leveraging audit experience to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of financial transactions.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, etc.) is required.
- 4-7 years of experience in GL accounting, preferably in a Shared Service or multinational environment.
- Audit experience is strongly preferred, with an ability to apply audit principles to accounting and reporting tasks.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and end-to-end RTR processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and improving processes.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
