Senior Accountant

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join as a Senior Accountant. In this full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial accounting and reporting services to support the company's continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop company’s financial goals, strategies, and plans, including budgeting, fundraising, and fund allocation.
2. Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze and interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making.
3. Manage the company’s cash flow, including income and expenditure tracking, cash flow forecasting, and financial risk control to ensure the security and stability of company funds.
4. Establish and improve accounting policies and financial management systems.
5. Organize and implement financial audits. Supervise the establishment and execution of internal control systems. Identify and resolve financial risks and issues.
6. Supervise financial management work across departments. Guide and assist department heads in making financial forecasts and strategic decisions.
7. Identify and evaluate financial risks, and develop appropriate risk management measures to minimize potential threats.

What we're looking for

• Fluent in both English and Mandarin, ensuring effective communication & collaboration within diverse teams.
• Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF, PIVOT.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Candidates with 1–3 years of accounting experience are preferred.
