About the role

TIAN AN TRADING SDN BHD is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Account & Finance Executive (FMCG) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our food-related FMCG business.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the full accounting cycle, including day-to-day finance & accounting operations.
2. Ensure timely reconciliation and accurate updating of accounting schedules.
3. Handle and submit full sets of accounts on a timely basis.
4. Perform fiscal year-end closing activities and assist with external audit requirements.
5. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls.
6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
7. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial analysis for the Director.
8. Liaise with external stakeholders, including company secretaries, bankers, and statutory bodies.
9. Continuously seek and implement opportunities to streamline and improve financial operations.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and reporting.
11. Lead and manage account assistants through coaching and delegation.
12. Perform any other duties as assigned by management to meet organizational needs.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the trading industry.
2. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
3. Excellent understanding of financial accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
4. Proficient in financial reporting software (AutoCount) and data analysis tools.
5. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
8. Hands-on experience with financial system implementation and process improvements.
