Job description

Senior Account Executive (Finance Department)

Review and monitor the invoicing of school fees, trips, meal plans, and other student charges, ensuring full compliance with e-invoicing regulations.

Handle cash collection with proper documentation and arrange weekly cash deposit to nearest branch.

Monitor incoming payments from students and maintain accurate cash book, invoice listing and future intake listings.

Monitor incoming email from parents sent to the designated finance email address and take appropriate action as required.

Prepare monthly reconciliation on number of students and manage the monthly charge out of contract liability and income recognition as per MFRS15.

Take charge of preparing and monitoring the monthly ageing report and identifying doubtful debts.

Prepare the yearly school fee structure for management review.

Coordinate with Operations department to prepare meal plan pricing.

Support annual budget preparation, including liaising with departments to gather and verify necessary information.

Communicate and follow up with parents for matter regarding fee billing, top up and fee collections.

Coordinate with teachers and other departments on billing and event collections.

Develop and maintain the annual billing timeline to ensure timely and accurate execution.

Liaise with external auditors on matters related to accounts receivable.

Any ad-hoc task that assigned by Finance Manager.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

4–6 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Proactive and able to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

Detailed-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines.

Familiarity with e-invoicing practices and financial reporting is an advantage.
