About the job

The Customer Intelligence team is looking for an experienced sales professional to lead on sales of the award-winning SAS Customer Intelligence 360 suite, a cloud-native end-to-end marketing and personalization solution. In this role, you will provide domain expertise on products/solutions to identify, develop and close deals when empowering existing customers and prospects in the ASEAN region to improve their customer experience strategies and modernize customer engagement solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage with targeted customers and prospect accounts to position and sell SAS Marketing solutions.
  • Develop strategies to modernize customer engagement for strategic clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships, influencing long-term strategies and engaging with C-level decision-makers.
  • Provide expertise in industry, business, and marketing technology to close deals in your assigned territory.
  • Support lead-generation activities and integrate strategies into account plans, qualifying based on business and technical fit.
  • Develop opportunities and create compelling proposals to communicate the value of SAS solutions, collaborating with internal teams.
  • Drive the closure of complex sales and assist with pricing and licensing negotiations.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in solution selling within enterprise software or marketing technology space.
  • Strong consultative selling skills: understand customer goals, identify value drivers, and present to executives confidently.
  • Experience of building executive and director-level relationships by addressing business-critical problems and outcomes.
  • Ability to proactively search for marketing opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Attention to detail while focusing on long-term vision and anticipating potential roadblocks.
  • Passionate and collaborative team player with self-drive and a strong work ethic.
  • Good knowledge of sales techniques, software acquisition cycles, and territory dynamics.
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written), ability to work independently and in teams, and has the ability to travel internationally 30-50%.
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
