Senior Account Executive / Assistant Account Manager
Job description
Responsibilities
- Prepare full set of accounts, management report and ad hoc financial analysis to help improve overall results of the company.
- Manage fixed asset transactions.
- Lead and manage stock take exercise.
- General Ledger Administration related issues.
- Prepare and oversee budgets and financial forecasts.
- Plan, manage and monitor cash flow to ensure overdue sales amounts are recovered and sufficient cash is maintained for payments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensure all management, consolidated account and statutory reporting submissions are done on a timely and accurate basis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
- Verify payments prepared by subordinates to ensure accuracy and compliance with the company's SOPs.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments such as production, procurement, and sales to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Handle taxation & auditing related matters.
- Manage ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a similar degree.
- Preferably more than 10 to 15 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience in trading, manufacturing, and project accounting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
