A leading financial group in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of financial activities including reporting, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in finance/accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience and proactive analytical skills.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years working experience in Finance/Accounting.
• Well versed in Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
• Willing to work in Kota Damansara.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing the full spectrum of finance, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment vouchers, payment collection, general ledger and reconciliations.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Management Reports, which includes an income statement, variance analysis against budget/forecast and prior year results, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Maintaining proper Fixed Assets records.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Preparation of tax computation, tax forecast (CP204) and tax revisions (CP204A).
• Manage the annual audit of the Company.
• Develop and implement proper policies, procedures and financial controls in the businesses, to ensure greater efficiency and operations.
• Liaise with auditor, tax agent, company secretary, legal advisor, bankers and others statutory bodies for relevant reports and submissions as required by regulatory bodies.
• Assist on any ad-hoc assignment, if any.
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and/or Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA and CPA etc).
• More than 3 years working experiences in Finance/Accounting.
• Possess strong analytical skills with proactive mind set, able to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team.
• Hands-on approach, able to multi-task, work independently and under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environment and dynamic culture.
• Team player - able to work across different teams and contribute to a positive environment
• Well versed in accounting standards i.e. Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (“MFRS”).
• Willing to work in Kota Damansara.
