Senior Account Executive

To handle a full set of accounts which includes managing General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, and Inventory records.

To ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.

To prepare financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.

To prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.

To assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.

To handle tax computation and timely submission of Sales and Service Tax (SST).

To liaise with external parties including auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and government authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

To monitor and manage daily cash flow, bank balances, and payment schedules.

To ensure proper documentation, filing, and safekeeping of all financial records.

To maintain strong internal control systems and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

To identify areas for process improvement and implement automation where applicable.

Job Requirements

The candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in handling a full set of accounts.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL) and Microsoft Excel.

Solid understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and relevant tax regulations.

Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly advantageous.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
