Senior Account Executive

About the role

As a Senior Account Executive at BLUEPRINT PROJECTS SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in the company's financial accounting and reporting operations. This full-time position is based in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, and involves managing a diverse portfolio of financial responsibilities to support the overall business objectives.

What you'll be doing

1. Handle the full set of accounts and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
2. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
3. Manage proper filing of accounting documents.
4. Prepare and monitor monthly closing, P&L statements, reporting, financial analysis, annual audited reports, and tax computations timely and accurately.
5. Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
6. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and other statutory bodies/authorities to ensure compliance with all statutory and tax requirements.
7. Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
8. Handle submissions to relevant authorities such as EPF, SOCSO, income tax, etc.
9. Prepare monthly cash flow reports.

What we're looking for

1. Candidate must possess at least a Certificate or Degree/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in accounting, LCCI, or equivalent.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar financial accounting and reporting role, preferably in the construction or related industry.
3. Preferably candidates with experience from audit firms and tax.
4. Required skills: MS Office, bookkeeping, UBS software, and AutoCount.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, initiative, independence, meticulousness, analytical ability, and proactiveness.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to speak and write fluent English.
9. Basic knowledge and experience in tax are an added advantage.
