A leading company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage monthly financial closings and assist in daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate must hold a relevant degree and have at least 2 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in accounting software being a significant advantage. Strong ethical standards, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Must possess a Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in accounting
At least 2 years of experience in accounting procedures and principles
Ethical behaviour when dealing with financial information
High level of accuracy and efficiency
Have experience with accounting software preferably IFCA software knowledge would be an added advantage
Candidates should be pro-active, have good communications and inter-personal skills
Job Responsibilities
In the Capacity of an Accounts Executive
· To ensure accuracy and timeliness in closing of accounts every month
· To assist Assistant Finance Manager and Senior Finance Manager in the day to day accounting related issues.
Daily
· To ensure all claims and invoices from trade and sundry creditors are posted correctly.
· To prepare and process all petty cash claims and reimbursement
· To monitor the receivables
· To file all accounting documents issued and correspondences received.
Monthly
· To ensure the creditor’s ageing report is generated on a timely basis
· To raise any necessary journal vouchers for month end closing
· To perform bank reconciliations in the cash control book and in the system
· To ensure reconciliation for all balance sheet items are maintained properly
· To prepare the management reports for AP Management
· To prepare the following reports: Management reports, BMSB reports for submission to Group, Quarterly review, as and when requested by the management
Yearly
· To assist in preparation of the annual budget
· To assist in the Corporate Tax Organiser for yearly tax computation and any tax review
· To assist the auditors in the annual audit and to prepare the companies’ audited report
In General
· To ensure quality and accuracy on the submission of the financial reports
· To maintain all companies’ reports in order i.e. documents should be properly filed and arranged
· To perform any other matters or duties required by the HOD/Management from time to time.
