About the role

TDK-Lambda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Account Executive to join our team in Senai, Johor. As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company's financial accounting and reporting processes. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic goals of our organisation.

Responsibilities

Handle posting and processing entries to ensure all business transaction are recorded properly.

Manage and maintain the Account Payable, Account Receivable and General Ledger, including recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and identifying and resolving discrepancies

To handle daily accounting functions and monthly closing activities including preparation and processing of month end journals.

To prepare month-end reconciliations for all balance sheet items and control accounts and analysis of general ledger accounts and expenses.

Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as invoicing, stock, fixed asset and other transactions.

Perform periodic physical check of inventory and fixed assets.

Perform payment processing activities such as preparing banking transactions (online and/or manual).

Prepare audit and tax schedules for year-end finalization.

Liaise with bankers, tax agents or consultants and external auditors as necessary.

Prepare financial and management accounts reports.

Perform any others ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification (CIMA or ACCA).

Minimum experience 4 to 5 years in related field.

Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.

Hands on practical experience in ERP system (SAP/BAAN/INFOR LN).

Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and multitask with minimum supervision.

Proactive, good problem-solving ability, resourceful, innovative and have an eye for detail.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
