About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic finance team. This full-time role is based in Kuching, Sarawak, and will play a crucial part in our financial accounting and reporting operations.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports

Perform month-end and year-end accounting procedures and reconciliations

Oversee the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and internal policies

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls

Train and mentor junior members of the finance team

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role, ideally within a large organisation or professional services firm

Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards and regulations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools

Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders

Bachelor Degree and above are preferred
