JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and local tax regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial operations. This role involves preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with other departments to achieve overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be tasked with:

Ensure all financial transactions are accurately documented and properly coded.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and promptly resolve any discrepancies.

Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Handle the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, including timely submission of tax filings.

Support audit process by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor queries.

Monitor and control expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.

Process employee expenses claims and manage reimbursement procedures.

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business objectives.

Perform ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned.

Strong communication of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial best practices.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.

Strong attention to detail with proven problem solving abilities.

Effective communication skills for internal teams and external stakeholders.

At least 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or a similar role.

Proven experience as a Senior Accounting Executive or in a comparable position.

Good command of English & Mandarin – both verbal & written. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
