As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our finance team.

Job Summary:

The Account Executive will manage the company’s financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reporting to ensure smooth financial operations. This role requires experience in the construction industry, with knowledge of project-based accounting, supplier management, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full set of accounts, including accounts payable (AP) & accounts receivable (AR).

• Prepare financial statements, monthly reports, and bank reconciliations.

•Handle project-based accounting, ensuring accurate tracking of costs, revenue, and profitability for construction and renovation projects.

• Process invoices, payments, claims, and payroll transactions in a timely manner.

• Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, SST, and financial reporting standards.

• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors on payment matters.

• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget planning for on-going projects.

•Work closely with auditors, banks, and tax authorities to ensure proper financial compliance.

•Assist in budget forecasting, financial planning, and cost control strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.

· Knowledge of project accounting and construction-related financial processes is an advantage.

· Familiarity with Malaysian tax laws, SST, and corporate reporting requirements

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

· Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin (as the role required lease with our mandarin speaking clients and supplier from China) and Bahasa Malaysia

· Strong numerical and analytical skills.

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

· High level of integrity and confidentiality.
