Job summary

Gfg Home Realty Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our finance team. You will manage full sets of accounts, prepare monthly management accounts, and assist with closing activities.

The ideal candidate holds a accounting degree, 4–6 years experience, strong knowledge of Malaysian standards, and proficiency with AutoCount. Hospitality or property industry background is a plus; we offer a 5-day week and a supportive growth culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 4-6 years accounting experience, preferably handling full sets of accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Experience in AutoCount or similar accounting software is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Independent, responsible, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in the hospitality or property industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor and reconcile General Ledger, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and cash flow reporting.
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.
• Assist in improving accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting efficiency.
• Support Finance Manager on ad-hoc assignments and business projects.
