Job description

We are representing our client which a Professional Business Services Provider, HQ in Singapore. They are looking for potential candidate to fill the position of Senior Account Associateto join their outsourcing firm at Kota Laksamana, Melaka.

Salary: up to RM5,500 + fixed allowance
Working Days: 5 working days (8:30am - 5:30pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Handle full sets of accounts (including consolidation accounts), GST and compliance matters.
  • Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to verify all entries have been created and posted, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and cohesiveness of information including performing bank reconciliation
  • Assist to maintain and administer accounting and payroll administration, as well as provide tax and audit support for the portfolio of clients
  • Timely preparation of accounts and financial reports to comply with the clients policies and statutory requirements.
  • Work closely with clients and manage their expectations
  • Coaching other team members through sharing experience and knowledge appropriately
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree In Accountancy, ACCA, or other equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting firm
  • Good command of the English language and communication skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Well-versed in MS applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), practical knowledge in XERO and Quickbooks is an advantage.
