About the role
CF STAR SIGNCRAFT SDN. BHD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Jalan Ipoh Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time employee, you will play a critical role in managing the company's financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

Generating and analyzing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management and external stakeholders

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other relevant laws and policies

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices

Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff, as required

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the financial accounting and reporting industry

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and accounting principles

Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide financial insights and recommendations

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness

Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
