Job summary

YOLO Events in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Designer to lead the creative direction for high-profile events from concept to final build. You will develop impactful concepts, art direction, 3D designs and event visualisations that bring ideas to life.

Collaborating with clients, event teams, suppliers and fabricators, you will ensure designs are on-brand, practical and delivered to a high standard. The role requires travel domestically and internationally and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, 3D Designer, Art Director, Creative Director or similar roles.
• Proven record of producing high-level designs and technical drawings.
• Proficient in 3ds Max, V-Ray, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Cloud, or equivalent.
• Comfortable with irregular work hours, including weekends and public holidays, to achieve deadlines.
• Able to communicate fluently in English.
• Team player and strives to go Above & Beyond constantly.
• Attention to visual details, creativity and a good eye for design.
• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally for projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts from start to finish for event opportunities.
• Produce concepts, art direction, 3D renderings and visualisations of event environments, structural build-ups and installation.
• Work closely with clients, internal team and external related professionals from design stage to production.
• Study client brand guides and create visuals and designs accordingly.
• Produce 3D designs and visuals with detailed measurements for the fabrication team.
• Plan and design event interiors according to approved creative direction.
• Execute briefs and designs efficiently and pragmatically within scope and on time.
• Brainstorm and work with teammates to deliver concepts including mood boards, mockup designs and digital designs.

Lead the creative direction for events from client brief to final execution. Develop impactful concepts, art direction, 3D designs and event visualisations that bring ideas to life.

Work closely with clients, event teams, suppliers and fabricators to ensure designs are practical, on-brand and executed to a high standard. Take ownership of the creative process, from site visits and concept development to detailed 3D designs and final build.
