Job summary

CBRE is seeking a WWTP RODI Engineer for Batu Kawan, Penang. The role covers maintenance of facilities, electrical and mechanical systems, and supporting energy management within a semiconductor environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, installation support, and reviewing work orders. Candidate should have a chemical or mechanical engineering background with 4-5 years' related experience and CePIETSO certification, plus wastewater plant exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Certificate in CePIETSO (Certified Environmental Professional in the Operation of Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems) - essential
• Prior experience with wastewater plants - essential

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time and materials to complete repairs.
• Support energy management to keep systems efficient.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regs.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to complete complex assignments and propose solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values.
• Impact a range of customer, operational or project activities within teams.
