Job summary

Brooks Automation Malaysia SDN. BHD. is seeking a Test Technician to perform routine testing, assembly, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment.

You will support technicians and engineers in daily production while ensuring quality, safety, and cleanroom compliance. The role requires a Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (preferred) with 2–7 years in electronics or mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma Electrical or Electronic Engineering (preferred).
• 2–7 years in electronic or mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor equipment and test methodologies.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic test instruments.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.
• Willing to work at Pasir Gudang and on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing, assembly, calibration and basic troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment.
• Support technicians and engineers in day-to-day production while ensuring quality and safety.
• Conduct end-of-line testing and burn-in per procedures and customer specs.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and test specifications and record results.
• Escalate complex problems to senior staff with documentation.
• Contribute to 5S and Lean manufacturing activities.
• Maintain ESD, safety and cleanroom compliance.
